A lot of people like to get new wetsuits every year or two. Most wisely make their purchases at the start of the colder seasons, fall and winter, for reasons having to do with warmth, I presume. But there is another reason why this is the perfect time to buy a new wetsuit.

The end of summer and beginning of fall is when many wetsuit manufacturers come out with their new lines. That means surf shops have last season’s inventory to get rid of to make room for the new stuff. There are great deals to be had right now, especially on Xcel wetsuits, so get ‘em while the gettin’s good.
